@Erik Aston i love your Metroid: Mommy issues, good stuff. but i think your in the minority when it comes to being mad at 3d Mario, and why would you be, cause they get more attention than 2d???? Of course it does Ninty mastered the 2d Mario formula since the original, "more attention to graphics"??? its a damn 2d platform how much more attetion they can give it??? YOu think Mario DS could have looked better? Really, what is their left to do with the 2d Mario series? the last game had multiplayer, "amazing" because many other 2d platformers didnt already do this years prior with online support. Im not hating on 2d Mario, i still hold that Mario 3 is the best platformer ever made and will ever be made, Yoshis island and SOnic 2 following closely behind, but i believe that Ninty as artist might feel that they done just about all they can do with the 2d Mario games, unless you want them to go the COD route and release yearly and i dont think thats good for any series, especially Ninty. FYI there have been far more 2d marios than 3d.
