1) You should relax.

Also I absolutely agree with you that hackers bring us nothing, just look at the history of how PSP got majority of the features people enjoy, including Web Browsing, proper movie file support, internet radio, etc...

2) People quickly label me as a piracy supporter because I support homebrew. Completely ignoring the fact that one =/= the other, no matter how hard you guys try to argue.

3) Also, just so you know, the PC probably doesn't care too much because it is actually growing.

Holy shit, imagine that!

1) PS3 needs none of tha, movie file support?, internet radio?, web browser?, have you ever heard of a computer?. People wanting web browsers is not worth the PS3's security and the potential for piracy taht comes from taht.

2) wherever there is homebrew piracy will follow, it doesnt matter who you support, if your side wins (homebrew) then piracy also wins, therefore as far as imconcerned yoyur on the pirates side (if your side wins the pirates win).

3) You haker guys should get one of those for your internet radio and leave the PS3 out of it.

As expected, you made false assumptions again and in no way rebutted my argument.

Good day to you sir.

100% fact. look at the PSP, all that "Internet web browsers" and "movie file support" and"internet radio" pale incomparison to the rampant piracy that it has to endure. And no, all taht crap that you can get a computer for is in no way worth all the negatives, the PSP DIS NOT NEEED ANY OF THIS (get a computer dude).

You cannot have homebrew without piracy, if the hombrew gusy win then piracy also wins, 100% fact.

Its only a false assumption if you live in a fantasy world.

False assumption being that you say that because I support homebrew it in turn means I am on the side of piracy.

You clearly do not agree with me, so we should leave it at that. I will never be on the line of thinking that believes "You shouldn't have this because it could lead to this", because just about anything in life can lead to something very negative.

Also, the DS has just as much piracy problems as the PSP and it did fine.

Piracy wasn't it's problem. Tons of ports early on and lack of mass appeal in the west is what hurt it most. Let us also mention the fact that they charged an absurd $50 for a handheld game.

As for PSP not needing certain things because computers can do them, let me know to put my PC in my pocket and use those features on the go.

Smartphones found a use for them, why not handheld gaming systems? Simply because you think it isn't needed? That isn't exactly a solid basis for an argument. Sony wouldn't have later added those features into the official firmware if they did not feel it was warranted. They clearly saw that demand was there and they added them to keep up with the custom firmwares in hopes that it would prevent some users from modding their systems to get those features.

PSP alway had video playback, but it was some really ridiculous file type that was split into 2 parts. Users did not like it at all and enabled .avi support amongst other types. Sony then went ahead and added them.

Your argument that they were not needed holds no water. The consumers spoke, Sony listened and responded. Clearly they were needed.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
