This generation has produced the overall best crop of games ever. Period.

So great you can't even name one game.  Awe inspiring these games are.

You know it, I know it, the developers know it, not even half of the people that buy todays games will finish them or go back to play them.  Verses I can still go outside and find Daytona USA in an arcade or cinema or Bar.

In fact, fuck this generation I'm gonna play some more Daytona.

Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Bayonetta, Little Big Planet, Assassins Creed 2, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Vanquish, Street Fighter 4, Uncharted 2, Fable 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Dragon Age: Origins, Just Cause 2, Bioshock, Killzone 2, Valkyria Chonicles, Demon's Souls, Gran Turismo 5, Forza 3 and I can on and on, listing great games from this generation is a breeze. Listing games that will be remembered forever is just as easy and listing games with fantastic amounts of content and replayabilty is like a walk in a park.

If your still playing Daytona, then that's just because you've chosen to ignore the many amazing games of this generation and you've obviously picked a sterile, old and poorly designed racing game over newer ones that have surpassed it in every single way.

I'll once again say that similar threads have gone over this topic a million times and they are always just a breeding ground for Nintendo fans and fans of Japanese games, who also apparently ignore Japanese games.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
