That really does depend on who you fight against, you can hold away a number of characters doing this.

True, though if the player you're going against is half decent they'll probably have someone with a teleport or good projectile on their team. That isn't to say pineapple grenade and trigger happy are bad, just that if you don't mix in some close range stuff and you get too predictable you're gonna get punished for it.
