currently we are on 40 billion dollars budget for the Internet and the plan has already gone live for some places in Tasmania (all the places in the world tasmania has some kick ass internet speeds).
but with all the floods and cyclone that going to need 10-20 billion and the government hell bent on making an profit the plan doesn't have an good chance of getting anywhere
