What's funny to me is that Sony needs 10x the raw power of Nintento (apples to oranges) or more in order to remove some jaggies I won't even notice during gameplay.  I did see some in that MGS pic, but it's also bigger than an entire 3DS on my display (woot, PC connected to TV!).  Shrink it down and get it into motion and I'll barely notice.  Not that I'd care, either, as I have a few DS games where I notice the jaggies and it doesn't distract from my enjoyment of the games themselves.  Some people are willing to pay a lot more for little gain, and that's fine for them, but the difference in tech means so little to my experience that I'm going for whichever will give the more entertaining experience.  Experience says that'll be Nintendo and they won't have to break a sweat doing it.

Almost exactly what I said on the previous page(3). Plus, official specs for the 3DS has not been announced has it?  I think NGP specs are official but I haven't found a site that actually confirms the clock speeds, memory, etc of the 3DS.  All we know is it's using the PICA GPU which can range anywhere between 200mhz to 400mhz in terms of clock speeds. In addition there are other factors that come into play regarding the 3DS which could amp it's visuals.  Jaggies for example won't be as pronounced on a 3 to 4 inch screen as compared to a 5 to 6 inch screen.  It's a given though that NGP will be a powerhouse (somewhere bet the 360 and PS3) but the 3DS ain't a slouch either and probably will fall somewhere anywhere between the Gamecube and Wii or even Wii and 360  in terms of horsepower.  Which is still very, very competent for a handheld using only a 3 to 3.5 inch screen and whose specialty is providing a "new" kind of experience like 3D without glasses.
