For example The Korea Communications Commission is working on plans that will boost broadband speeds in that country tenfold by the end of 2012. That means Koreans will access 1 Gbps service by 2012. Source

Dang 1 Gbps.... That would make what USA companies offer look like a 14.4 kps connection. USA definitely needs to get its ball rolling on science and technology or we will be left in the dust. Might as well add manufacturing, infrastructure, budget balancing/surplus, weight loss, improved diet, legalization of weed, switch from two-party system to multi-party system, and many more in there also...
