It can't be made any smaller anyways since the technology was from last gen and components small enough to make the actual Wii the size it is. 360 and PS3 added features or decreased the power consumption/made the console more reliable.

Wii is alraedy small, reliable and energy efficient. What would a redesign add?

3D? Better Online? HD? Capacity for some shaders effects like 3DS?
