Ok I need some help right now.

My Corvette Z06 is the best car I have in terms of everything. I could fly through the Gran Turismo Championship and Tuned Cars Events with it. However I've suddenly hit a problem.

I tried using my Z06 again for the GT Championship but it's doesn't have the same performance as before. My back wheels will start to spin out on it's own when I reach a certain speed and I'll go out of control and spin out, etc.

It's at 678 hp and it's got Sports Medium Tires on and I haven't tuned it for a long time but up until two days ago my Corvette started acting up.

So I took it to the GT Auto and rebuilt the Engine and replaced the Wheels but it wouldn't change a thing. In fact it made it worse. Now I can't accelerate past 320 km/h and will slow down a bit and just reach 320 km/h again. It used to go up to 350km/h I think with ease on a straight path.

What can and should I do?

How many miles/kilometers does it have? You could be looking at a rigidity problem, that's not allowing you to have aerodynamic stability on high speeds.

Have you also tried Rigidity restoration? Also, are you sure you haven't tampered with the Transmission as well, like buying a new transmission that could have dislodged the gear ratio that you used to have?

I haven't played GT5 today so I don't know how many Kilometers it's done but it's done a lot as it's my most used car. I actually haven't done a rigidty check on it. If that is the problem, would it be due to lots of bumping into cars, etc? Like at Nurburgring races, I'd bump into so many cars due to the narrow roads, etc.

I'll try the Rigidty Restoration when I play next. And no I haven't tampered with my Transmission because I changed the transmission to ta 6 Gear a long time ago and it was perfectly fine until few days ago. Like I said, I haven't made any changes to it for a long time and it only started acting up. I cannot race properly with it right now.

Bumps and overall use can do a number on your chassis which in turn limits both the top speed and the driving physics of the car.

My MINOLTA suffered the same, after using it for over 4.000 Km of grinding.

This is why GT5 is THE Real Racing Simulator

K thanks and I'll get that fixed and let you know it that solved the problem.

BTW what's it like Driving the Red Bull X2010?

It depends on the track you're driving. In some tracks is like driving your normal F1 car, albeit with a bit more speed, and others is like driving a frigging plane, especially on the Nürb. Driving around the Karrousel at 180 km/h is pretty hilarious XD.

You're a savior you know that?

My Corvette is back in shape and is back to kickin ass in races!!! Thanks for the tip!

The body Rigidty was indeed the problem and damn it was expensive getting it fixed!

And I must say, the Nissan GT-R 7 and the Ferrari 458 Italia are incredible cars. I love them so much!!!

BTW Got a question, what happens when I set my cars to online? What does it do?
