Extremists think they need to convert others not realising their desire to do so is in fact a lust for power.
All religious extremists see evidence all around them that backs up their belief. And yet there is no evidence that can conclude one religion is correct. Many people try to create a consistent view around a belief but in the end are on their own. If you want something that can be talked about and understood, look inside.
In the meanwhile read Fear and Trembling by Soren Kierkegaard then maybe you'll stop trying to prove the existence of something that is unprovable.
