Except that from today on, DLC only works with RB3. Plus, it's much better for parties now since you can hop in and out mid-song and change your difficulty in the middle of the song if you are failing too fast

On Topic: Wait for the NA numbers. As far as I know very few keyboard peripherals were sent overseas, as they barely had enough for this side of the pond. For me, that was the biggest attraction for the upgrade. With the steep pricetag though, I could see this being more of a holiday seller instead. I just knew I was getting the keyboard bundle over a month in advance.

I sure hope you mean new DLC because I'd be pissed if they blocked my already purchased DLC (I don't think they can but who knows)

Yes, I mean new DLC starting with The Doors. They changed the file format, presumably to allow for keyboard, pro drums, harmonies and other features. The old games won't be able to read the new files, so they won't even show up in your music store.

Also, I read somewhere that the music genre's sales have been bad since 2008..... that's when Rock Band 2 came out. I have a feeling this game will do really well for holidays since it's much more family oriented than warriors of rock

Edit: I just realized, the game was just released on Friday. This article is talking about a game that was released on the 29th for a week ending the 30th. So what is this, one or two days of sales in one country? Plus, this game has no advertising so most people probably don't know that it's even out yet.
