Small history on how infinity ward formed

this is a post to inform how Infinity ward, who is the creator of call of duty formed. I have done this because i was reading a article on IGN about the history of Call of duty and they dont even know how infinity ward formed and how Activison got the group as IGN said is that Activison aquired the talented group after they left 2015. 

well reading a while back i read this interview of a Polish worker at 2015 when this turmoil happened,while i will search for that article i do remember the main story of it as i tend to remember pointless stuff like this really well. so here it goes.

EA was creating MOH, an First Person shooter series for the Consoles, the series was doing very well on the consoles and believe that they should try and bring it to the PC market were most FPS gamers are situated. But the EA team responsible for the current MOH series didn't have PC devolopment experience (remember EA was a console developer for playstation) so they decided to out source the duties to 2015 who had PC expereince. 

There job was to produce an PC exclusive Medal of Honor Allied Assault. The game was very successful and highly acclaimed even despite being released around the time of Battlefield 1942.

Now EA wanted to acquire the team at 2015, but that wasn't going to happen. And many members already working on a new project (aka.call of duty) left 2015 to form Infinity Ward to work under EA which EA would acquire to continue producing Medal of honor games. But the owner of 2015 sued Infinity ward to what they have done (most likely the making of the new game and then leaving with it, not told). facing big bills to pay off the owner of 2015, EA dumped infinity ward (big mistake). 

So still being sued by 2015 infinity ward and its highly talented team was about to fall apart until Activison came in and bought the Studio and paid off the owner of 2015. 2015 continued to then run but shut down not long after. Activison now had the studio and the new game it was making and instead of being Medal of Honor it was renamed Call of Duty and went on to be a smash hit. 

So thats how call of duty formed, i will try and find that article and hoperly you have enjoyed the read if you didn't know. and if you did know i was a bit sketchy but thats about right.
