My girlfriend LOOOOVED Animal Crossing.... and I really enjoyed it too.... except.... I made myself a kickass house I liked.... and I was happy with it. I upgraded my house once, and I had everything I needed... heck I had everything I wanted. I was content with my virtual life... completely. So I was done. A bigger house just meant i'd have to fill it with stuff I didn't like as much just to fill the rooms! Even MMO games are built around the wolrd being a part of you. Rather then you being a part of the world. I have no desires to live like a king. More just like a middle class person with a maid. I suspect in minecraft i'll build myself a modest little place and be happy. |
Ha believe me that's what I thought too, but the next thing I know I have a giant 8 level castle with a moat, a massive pyramid, and and endless network of mineshafts.
Something about this game just entices me to keep exploring caves and collecting valuable resources, at which point I take those resources and put them towards my ever growing castle, which makes me more bold and want to explore further, and the cycle repeats..
