host a local server on your mac and dial into it, that will fix the issue. my g5 seems to do that, though none of my other macs do (g4, macbook pro) so i just use the g5 now to host the server. most of the time i dont play on it, but if the other computers get tied up i play there. you can use mods on servers to switch it to day time anytime you want. though the servers have many of thier own problems... like you cant die....
