Whether or not FF13 is a good game or not, it cant have improved the popularity of the series, or it would be on its way to outselling FF8, and 10, but its not, and no where near FF7 sales, so this is a moot point imo. and i believe Versus will sell less. so i think its debatable whether the series can continue if the sales of the series continue to degrade. especially considering that FF13 was gifted a new HD engine, and 5 years in development, and came on well established userbases for the PS3 and 360; if they cant do it after that then...
