I also think Heavenly Sword beats out that 60 AI on screen point in the article.

I just don't like how it makes it seem like Halo Reach is greater than other Hack and Slash titles or Kart Racers, etc...

Halo Reach has a ton of content and will be nothing short of amazing, but those same genres it is trying to make it appear better than can do things that Reach can't even touch, like assassinations while hanging from ledges. Ability to attack the first place guy in a racer when you're in dead last. Ability to use the editing software to create sidescrolling shooters, sidescrolling platformers, racers, etc... with that only being LBP1, Forge can't touch LBP2. Ability to go questing like in an RPG or have control over the storyline.

It instead cherry picked certain aspects and declared Reach as "putting them to shame", which is my gripe with the article.

Could have been just as great of an article if it just went to great lengths to display what it offered compared to other FPS titles.

I see and agree about them overcomparing it to other games, as you pointed out other games do better at certain things because that's the actual genre they belong to and not a FPS.

However the Heavenly Sword one is completely moot.  It has horrendous AI just like every hack and slash.  Stupid enemies that are just slashing fodder for your sword and stand around waiting to be hit.  Reach has fully calculating independent AI with no set scripted paths and the abilities to take cover and launch endless different strategies such as baiting and flanking maneuvers.  In fact its so advance at such a large scale that if 5 or more Jackels are in combat together they will band together and form a phalanx with their shields to cover other to fire over them.  That's some damn impressive AI and Bungie is well know for their AI capabilities.
