Anyone out there who ever denies Wii's success is due to Casuals is dreaming.

The casuals are why Wii has sold like it has. Just look at the sheer number of casual games there. It's horrendous.

Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda are the highest selling single-player games on any console this gen.

NSMB Wii and Mario Kart are the biggest local and online multiplayer games this gen.

Are they casual now?

So if a game has multiplayer option, it is casual? Or why did you decide to exclude many games just because they have online component?

Your second point is pretty weird, is it.. if a game has multiplayer, it can't be casual?

If a system's biggest sellers aren't 'cazual' then how can the system's success be due to 'cazuals'?

Looking at the numbers for the games I listed shows that there are more non-cazualz on the Wii than PS3. Wii Fit definitely added a ton of new customers but they are either non-cazual gamers who also bought non-cazual games or cazual gamers who are now turning core.

Or maybe games are neither hardcore or casual.
