I could write ten pages cursing cheaters. that's why I love CD-keys and dedicated servers. I was once a server admin of a game without CD-keys (it was mod of UT99 that had gone retail), it was a nightmare to keep cheaters away from our servers, and I basically became a web detective, but one of the goddamn cheaters managed to play as another guy for quite some time. later, some guys developed an anti-cheat add-on that included account management, but now the enforced servers are usually empty (I stopped playing the game 4 years ago, the add-on was released two years ago).
