He called it a half breed because it's a single lens that requires you to actually physically move the camera to get a 3D effect. It's basically a standard camera with software giving the 3D, not a purpose built 3D camera. Also I can confirm it doesn't display true 3D. "Images can't be viewed in 3D on the camera's LCD. As an alternative, Sony has created a feature called Sweep Multi Angle. This mode will capture 15 images at different angles and combines them into one image. When the final image is displayed on screen, the user can tilt the camera to view the image through different angles, almost as if it's being displayed in 3D." |
Nope he called it a half breed cuz he just wanted to bash on Sony, heck he coundn't even come up with a decent come back, in fact the product he showed was way way more pricy and had bad reviews....he just randomly bs on Sony forums
and what do you mean half breed? do YOU have any evidence that the 3d images it takes are not up the standards? if not your as bad as him or worse
it can diplay the 3d effect on the cam itself....you and i can argue all day long if that's real or w/e bla bla bla but it get's the job done...again unless you can show me the 3d effect it shows on the screen when tilted is not up to par with expectations then your also rambling on and on a made up definition of true 3d
oh and btw might wanna google the definition of half breed while your at it, doesn't sound like you have a clue
