Essentially, it was a good month for software. Galaxy 2 and Red Dead were the major openings, and the new Wii bundles, particularly the Black Wii bundle, helped quite a bit on the Wii hardware side.
In the chart, May 2010 is what we expect NPD to show for May 2010. April 2010 and May 2009 are NPD figures for that month.
We had these titles as the top selling games in the USA for May (scaled down from the Americas figures). Numerous titles are bunched up right around 50,000 units for the period.
