Is this a serious question?

There is seemingly zero buzz at all for PS move in the mainstream non-gaming press, but a lot of buzz for Kinect.

I'll be the first one to admit that Move has more interetsing looking software for core gamers, but I'd also say that Sony seems to have no clue who they're marketing that thing to. Do hardcore gamers really care about Move? I doubt most will, and not much of the software Sony showed at E3 looked like it would grab much of the casual market. Also, being Wii HD is hardly significant. In fact, the only significant thing about move, is that it functions as well as Wii with a Wii Motion attachment. Considering the nuncheck doesn't even have motion control though, and that it's a lot more expensive than a Wii, I don't see it doing incredible sales. Even Sony pitched it as an add-on, rather than a way forward.

On the other hand, while Kinect has so far very little core gamer appeal regarding software, it has spades of mass market appeal. We'll see how it pans out, but in many ways Kinect looks like the type of motion control that will easily render the Wii obsolete in the eyes of the uneducated casual gamers (which is the market MS want).

How did having a minor amount of lag affect Wii? not at all to the casuals. Kinect has already won this. Just seeing Kinect as the number 1 seller on Amazon, while Move is at #17 says all you'd need to know.
