What i love about Ubuntu is that when a newer version comes out, it actually gets faster with each upgrade, even when running on old, nearly dead computers.
Whenever you go from one Windows system to another, it always slows down your system as the resource demands get so much higher.
and while there's no way my old laptop could run Windows 7, it will runs lucid lynx like it was built for it.
