Its because both the wii and 360 have more obvious flaws then the ps3. 360 was plagued by rrod at the beginning and wii for not being a "true next gen console." Both these complaints have become meritless to most because the current 360s have become far more reliable and now microsoft has an excellent warranty on them, and the best wii games aren't meant to be visual eyecandy. They are suppose to have the funnest gameplay around, which for most people they obviously do considering the sales.
People are also hyped that sony has been making a comeback since the slim and are hoping the trend will continue. Some also feel the decreasing sales for the wii are a sign it will be passed eventually while they can blame any decreasing ps3 sales on hardware shortages which is partially true.
