The DS Lite sales are very impressive; most companies would be happy if their worldwide sales were similar to the DS Lite's Japaneese sales. The PSP and Wii have both sold well, and the PS2 and GBA are doing alright for consoles which are on their last legs in Japan.

The XBox 360's sales are very poor although Microsoft should be somewhat 'pleased' with them; the original XBox spent most of its life selling approximately 2,000 units per month, sales like this mean there is actually some life in their system.

The PS3's sales are not good but what I think is the worst problem with them is what they mean to worldwide sales. The PS3 was supposed to easily pass the XBox 360 worldwide (and become the dominant HD console) because of sales in Japan; at 50,000 units per month over the XBox 360 I'm not certain the PS3 is even compensating for the XBox 360's sales advantage in North America. Overall, I think these two systems are selling similar numbers worldwide which means the PS3 isn't cutting into the 360's lead at all.
