.....damn this is wierd, somehow i get the feeling that i can actually connect the xbox to the pc audio system by just adding one simple optical cable...
I mean this is how it works so far:
my tv is also a pc monitor, so two in one. When i change the ouput to pc the 5.1 speakers work, when i change the output to tv the only speakers that work are the tv/monitor internal speakers.
Presumably if i just connected the monitor digital audio output to the pc digital audio input then the speakers should work whether i'm using the cable or pc signal, right? And because the xbox360 will be connected to the monitor via hdmi and that will be connected through opticals to the pc digital input, doesn't that mean that everything will be using those 5.1 speakers, even if the sound won't be 5.1 but just stereo?
If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...
