I might be wrong, but as far as I know one of the side-effects of requiring a login is that you won't be able to "share" your game. I believe that when you log in and play the game, no other PS3 might run it at the same time.

it might be it... well you will not have the chance to play against your friends who you share your PSN games with... its a clever move by capcom since if you want to play with friends all of them have to buy the game... the 5 console activation rule by sony give us the consumer some advantages but to devs is not that great, so capcom goes around that and made this move... capcom is like this since ever!
