I'll try to limit my time here and stick to the more serious forums I'm on (oddly enough none of them have the same problem as this forum or video game forums in general). The only other video game forum I go to is NeoGAF and even it has been getting steadily worse for the last two years.

Its not impossible. The problem sometimes is fanboys irritating behavior forces everyone to become untrustworthy. You cant start questioning the motives behind every post. If you expect a forum with thousands of members to not have some bad apples, you are a very naive person. No offense. Its just not going to happen. Ignore the trollish posts, and respond to the ones worth responding to.
