Don't get why you gotta hate. I mean sure if it was some talentless skank like Ke$ha, but Gaga is a true all round artist. She's not some record company puppet. She puts a lot of effort into her image, her videos and her shows and she's made an icon out of herself in less than 2 years. Good on her.

Mtv says unlike madonna who changed album to album, gaga delivers shock from single to single, and nobody knows what she's going to do next, its one of many reasons why they believe she isn't just her for 15 mins of fame. Her music is also amazing to this generation at the least, you don't see justin bieber, or miley cyrus scoring #1 after #1 or winning grammys..
She also wrote an entire album before she became lady gaga, and it has not one dance beat, she only became a producer a year later, but is a writer and has written music for major music artists.
