It's obvious portable is the future, but it's not like it'll be something like portable gaming today, it'll likely have wires to plug into your tv to get the full HD experience and then if you want to continue gaming on the go you can unplug it and play it wherever you want. 

It'd be so much more convenient and probably much more cheaper.

Anything could happen, maybe it'll be Appledomination or maybe the PSP2 will be a huge hit, or hell maybe Microsoft will have a good portable console, no one knows we'll just have to wait and see.
