They are teasing us, Nightstalker.
Imagine it's a girl blowing in your ear, and hinting you that she is going to engage in certain activities with you. Now, imagine that said girl flirts like this for a few years straight and you still haven't gotten anything. Not only that, but she flirts equally as much with your two buddies, making the scenario even more intriguing to whom she actually wants.
Sure it's annoying as hell not knowing when it's coming, who it's going to and why she torments you so, but when it does come, it will be the most explosive, convulsing, earth shattering thing ever.
