How come this isn't plagiarism and it doesn't go against Nintendo patents? Nintendo did all this work and took a very risky stance by bringing motion control as standart control in home consoles, and now others just copy them again and jump in the motion control war just like that? I don't get it..............

I guess it's like the D-pad. As long as they can find a way around it, like using different tech, they can get away with it.
Not the end of the world though. Nintendo will just have to come up with something completely different next gen (which I'm sure they were gonna do anyway), at which point Sony will just copy it once again, and the cycle of life continues...
In a way this is good for Nintendo, because maybe the quality of 3rd party games on the console will now go up, and Nintendo themselves can be challenged to create some better core games that utilize the motion controller.
