i gotta admit, this is gonna fail. I'm not sure to what extent, but it will not take away any fire from the wii and it won't be as appealing as Natal to non-ps3 owners. It is too expensive, and too late in the lifespan. I have a wii and PS3 myself but there is no way i'm buying arc, i already own a wii and the wii does more than enough to satisfy my need for motion controls. If arc has any kind of success it is gonna be with the current PS3 owners who don't own a wii and were looking for motion controls, unless Sony comes up with some kind of revolutionary killer ap for the arc that can have a wii sports like effect it isn't going to expand its audience. The games i have seen so far are not anything like that.
