We hear about terrible crimes being carried out every day through out the world. The perpetrators of serious crimes need to be punished. Capital punishment should be brought back and it would reduce crime. People would think twice about carrying heinous crimes of serial killing, pre-meditated murder(murder in the first degree), child killing, terrorism, etc. Justice systems vary greatly through out the world- criminals walk free if they have lots of money.
So are you for or against Capital Punishment?
I am totally for it and I believe that it should be brought back. People will think twice about their actions. Prison life sentence is more or less a tax payer funded holiday camp for life. That is not punishment at all. The serious offenders should lose their life. Choke on the end of the rope, lethal injection, electric chair or any other method of capital punishment. Capital punishment is justice.
Ok we will get the bleeding hearts and the politically correct side of the story claiming how barbaric capital punishment was in the past. Capital punishment is not acceptable in a civilised world. Defence lawyers will argue that criminals were not fully responsible for their actions they were drunk, on drugs, had an abusive childhood or they have Aspergers syndrome.
