I started it last night and I like it. I thought the part I hated the most would be the QTE's but it's actually the general controls I hate the most.

The QTE's are QTE's and I can't fault the game for me not liking/being bad at them. For QTE's they're pretty well done and the way they did the difficulty was pretty smart actually. The only QTE's parts I hate are the ones you have to tap the button. Those come up and I always just press the button, wait for the next prompt, and then realize I was supposed to be tapping the button.

Now the part I hate most is the movement. I don't know how they fucked up that badly but it's like it's 1998 and we're still figuring out how to move in a 3D world. Seriously, these are the worst movement controls I've experienced this decade.

The graphics look good, though mouths are a little funny. Other than that, some characters look a little off while others look fantastic (I think the convenience store clerk looks the best so far actually). The game has a definite atmosphere to it and I'm really digging it. The voice acting with Europeans trying to sound American is just laughably bad.

The story itself is what is making me suffer through the QTE's. If I wasn't so interested in what's going on with the characters and what happened to the one dudes kid I would have quit the game within the first hour but I have to know what's happening next. They did an excellent job at making invested in the story and I'm only a few hours in.
