The name is dumb. You only use your foot during a kickoff or a punt, so it should be kickoffball or puntball. But really it should just be called touchdownball, since that is the goal, to touch the ball down in the end zone. Endzoneball might work too. I prefer the name basketball, since the name itself tells you the goal is to put a ball in a basket.
