Why couldn't you have used the Wall Street Journal article title instead of the sensationalist articles title? Its all based off the WSJ piece anyway.
In any case based on the articles premise, they have nowhere left to 'fail' because they don't have market leadership in any field. So really, the thread should have been titled 'where will Sony win next?' since thats the only possible outcome.
As for the article, its pretty well written (WSJ). What bothers me most here is it shows that even in areas where they have been focusing, such as 3D, they are still being outmanouvered by their competition. Like for instance the 3D space by Panasonic who showed off a 100 inch 3D TV and used a movie made with Sony 3D cameras for their own marketing! As for consoles, Microsoft is getting far more discussion and talk of their interface than the Arc, even by people with an evidant Sony bias! Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack sure as hell aint Sony.
