In Brazil, my estimate market share for ps2 was like: 95-97% Ps2. Today is probably: 42-45% Wii(15% original), 42-45% 360(7% original). 7-16% ps3(100% original)

I really really doubt the X360 got that much of marketshare even with the official launch. Take any sales site out there and look at the best-sellers and on-the-spot lists. More like 40% Wii, 40% PS3 and 20% X360. I also believe X360 attach rate is somewhat above the Wii and PS3 above all by a wide shot (not that it means much anyway, but still).

Here, most 360 are pirated, 10% in the max. are original. Wii should have the same or a little more units than 360, but it is not pirated like the 360.

Official launch? Only people that want the 3 year warranty and will not pirate that buys official. But it is twice the price of imported consoles. Most brazilians despise the 360, and only have it because its "piratable", there are way more ps3 than 360 originals.

Here in Brazil, if you buy a original game you are considered a fool, because "intelligent people" knows how to avoid the law. And is truth, the wage here is less than half of the US, and the only way affordable to buy a game is importing from US or UK and PRAYING for the fiscals to don`t catch your game and put a 100% tax in it.

And afterwards, i`m still illegal, because i have to register in a US Psn with fake address to be able to play a game. And in Live, i would have to pay $50, be the only brazilian that is spending huge amounts of money, and still pray to M$ don`t ban my console.
