Exactly, the core gamer thinks first, then buys. They know the game will drop in price, and they'd rather wait (myself included). Its common for all systems not just the Wii.
Then again, It doesn't matter since, the casual market on the wii makes the core market obsolete. The reason Wii games fail is the lack of advertising on the casual market.
