lol at people talking about how reliable the old cartridge consoles were.
Who cares? They had no moving parts, and couldn't hold a tenth of what a cd could hold.
Time to move on.

That is NO excuse.

I don't think I am delusional. All I want is new technology that actually is reliable. Is that too much to ask for?

The big problems are consumers not company. Company are offering what customers want: cheap product. The needs always come before the products. We would need to rethink our purchasing criteria. Sega CD 15 years ago was 200$, Xbox today is 200$. I dont remember what was the Nes price 22 years ago but it was probably also around 200$. We cannot ask for the same quality. Same thing goes for everything. A refridgerator 30 years ago was 500$ and you can still have fridge at 500$ today. But you also have Miele that sell the same quality as 30 years ago but the fridge is 4000$. The problem is people dont want to buy them and expect that the one they pay 500$ will be as good as 30 years ago.

Your only being delusional if you think that you can have same quality when you pay the same price as 20 years ago. But its not your problems, it is a society problem. When a company try to sell a good product at an honest price considering the quality, they have a really hard time to survive. So less and less company wanna take those risk. If it keep on like that we will not even have the chance to purchase a good product in the near future because no companies will want to take risk manufacturing something that will be more expensive.

Sorry im mad after our american mentality.
