people do read threads and if there is no software to back it up, how come you can run linux on ps3, the software is already there it just needs extra apps, and to be tweaked more to the average user so everyone can use it intead of just people who know how to get the best out of linux.
i still think if sony teams up with the makers of linux then it would be a really good opportunity to finally make the next possible os that everyone jumps on, it's about time windows (broken windows) stopped getting all the love

the software outside the os isn't there.

Software support from games. Sure drivers could solve some issues but not all..

All linux versions that you can access as a normal ps3 owner, only covers the ppe and not the spe's.

which is why i said sony need to team up with the linux guys, so they can fix all those problems.

the architecture the cell uses is the future, but i think it just came out too early for usuage in PC's give it some time and get the right developers in and we could all see a revolution in PC advancement.

I don't know if sony will ever consider this tho, which is the saddest thing, oh well...

it's the future of handheld
