Here's where my story starts. I RROD'd my modded 360 while I was playing Lost Odyssey for the first time through.
After that, I went out and bought an Arcade 360 and have kept it to this day. It is still under warranty and has no problems whatsoever. However, I am too chicken shit to mod it again.
I have found a guy who lives about a 20 minute drive away from me. He is selling a modded Halo 3 360 (which he claims has never had problems whatsoever) with a few games and no controller for $100. The only downside is that it is missing the flap for USB connections according to him. Should I get it? Would you trust the guy? The controller thing isn't an issue because I already have two. He says he's willing to come to Best Buy with me and pretend like it's broken, just so that I can see that it works when they test it out.
