A straight friend of mine had a different issue, a girl coming up and asking: "So... you are either gay, or in a relationship right?" Guess it happens more often then just to you heart...
Another funny thing happened to him by the way. He has a twin brother and at some point a girl came up to him and started to enthusiastically hug him and yapping about some other people while we just stood there awkwardly staring at eachother, shrugging... She finally said: Don't you remember me?!
Then we casually told her that they are twins and it was very awkward...
