The industry is now run by suites who try to maximize profits and the bottom line.  When this happens, I can appreciate the work of development teams (I am a fan of the Uncharted and the Ratchet and Clank series), but why would I be appreciative of a company doing things to win marketshare?  Are they going to send cookies to every single Playstation 3 owner if they win?  No, it is a consumer product that they make money off of.  They are doing for self-serving interests.   So, why show appreciation of that?

 

I want to see this reaction from you when other comapnies do this as well. If you're fair and balanced, you will have this reaction towards every company that tries to better themselves to remain in the industry.

If a thread is posted about it, I can.  I don't normally see people getting excited over these things.  But note, I do give kudos out.  I think the Kevin Butler "Dear Playstation" spots are awesome, and I like Jack Trenton's nervousness at E3.
