Tekken will never flop because it's Tekken. It's like Madden---never really "hyped," but the core fanbase always knows about it, and is large enough to produce decent sales.
That said. Namco really dropped the ball here. I have yet to see a single commercial for this game. SCIV was EVERYWHERE. With appropriate marketing, this game should've outsold SFIV. Now, looking at the pre-order numbers, I'm not even sure if it'll beat SCIV. The only thing that may save it is that it's way more popular than either SC or SF in PAL.
