I think that the PS3 has a great chance of being supported until 2016. Why?
-The PS4 will have BC, or will most likely. Every story out about the PS4 says that it will use the Cell design so this should make BC pretty easy. BC will mean that more PS3 gen games are coming out, which will in turn give people with a PS3 a reason to buy more games and consoles.
-We probably aren't done with the price cuts I could see another one in 2011 after we move down to 32nm
