Dude...she is 14. Maybe she had it but is too embarrassed to tell even her best friend about it. Also...kids your age don't date. They go out. Even if you do manage to "go out" with her...it will be over before you know it...then you will sulk about how she broke up with you for the next year. Don't try to turn it into a relationship. Neither of you have the age or maturity to deal with a relationship. You are still kids.
Try to get a kiss out of her though...that will make you feel awesome about yourself. It will also prepare you for when you are older, and can actually try to start a relationship with a girl. Practice + Wisdom makes perfect.
