Okay, these are 5 reasons I actually (as in this isn't a joke post) think a conversion to the Wii after release is likely.

1. Crystal Tools is on the Wii. Even if the engine isn't scalable like the Modern Warfare engine, it's still on the Wii, which is more than can be said for other HD engines.

2. If it fits on the 360's ROM size, it of course fits on the Wii. And no, blu-ray would not have increased the content, unless the game had a streaming world that dwarfs San Andreas.

3. Like many JRPGs, this doesn't look as though the control is going to use that many buttons.

4. Dragon Quest Swords sold over half a million, and that's a spinoff title. Unless coverting FF XIII to the Wii takes several million, even selling that many would turn a profit.

5. It gives them some extra revenue, and we know S-E isn't above milking their hit games. They finally started porting the PS1 FF games, so more is coming.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
