According to VGChartz, PS3 sold ~1m in non European PAL.

1.5 Million actually.

Also PS3 was not ahead of 360 in Europe (= Continental Europe + UK & Ireland) before 2008 price cut. It was ahead in Continental Europe, and still is.

VGChartz numbers:

Total Others: PS3 = 10,901,163; 360 = 12,290,181 --> Difference = ~1.39 million in favour of 360

UK: PS3 = 2,180,025 ; 360 = 3,685,670 --> Difference = ~ 1.45 million in favour of 360

Not Europe others: PS3 = ~1.5 million; 360 = ~2.6 million --> Difference = ~1.1 million in favour of 360

1.39 million - 2.55 million --> Continental Europe PS3 lead = ~1.16 million.

1.39 million - 1.1 million --> all of Europe 360 lead = ~0.29 million

That Continental Europe lead is only going to grow from here on out. Question is will the 360 hold up enough in the UK and Scandinavia to keep the 360 ahead for all of europe. 290K is a slender lead indeed for 360 in the 2nd most important sales region. Last week's Scandinavia numbers aren't terribly promising for 360 because for the first time in a while the PS3 outsold the 360 there. So it might leave UK to fight the good fight for the 360. Sales momentum looks to be with PS3 for the moment.

For Pal territories generally 360 has Aussie and Other Others to keep it in the lead, but can they hold out? HD twins combined haven't quite reached half of PS2 sales in Aussie + Other Others. Theres a fair market still out there for HD console adoption. I'll be keeping an eye on Aussie and Other Other numbers to see if they flip to PS3 on a weekly basis.
