Not is this case, I think. Just a really niche product that absolutely tickles fans while leaving other people out in the cold.

There's a reason why the Resident Evil franchise isn't survival horror anymore. And even when it was, it used good ol' sci-fi zombies instead of wierd Tibetan mysticism.

Cursed Mountain is just too out there. But people like me love games that deviate so far from the norm.

I guess you're right. Still, it's nice to mention disruption in the context of wildly differing review scores. I, for one, think it's absolutely brilliant to see some 'jumping in' and others meeting it with raging bemusement
