Why is nobody talking about Tekken 6?

I think we agree on the overall issue, but we're arguing the details. I'm blaming the multiplat change for this, not PS3 fans. I wouldn't hype a game that seemed a major coup for another console either. Also, I'm not saying "all" unhyped games are based on their position according to Sony. In my last post, I referred to ALL multiplats and ALL exclusives over all consoles, and their hype ratio. PS3 fans are more numerous here, so the hype levels reflect that.

However, I want to know one thing.

Why do people who nab games, but don't give a shit about the hype surrounding them, disgust you?

...and shit yea, I'm biased, but it seems strange that when defending Tekken, I always run into a lot of people who are biased towards the PS3 attempting to marginalize the game. The difference is, I actually like Tekken. Alot. They just see it as a betrayal, and a loss of an exclusive. They don't give a shit about the actual game. I find myself having to defend multiplats from PS3 fans very often. Even games like FFXIII, because there is a basic conception on that side of the fence that multiplats are inferior and unimportant, while on the 360 side of the fence, multiplats are our life blood. They just happen to be some of the best HD games this generation as well. I remember last Xmas, all people could talk about was Gears 2 and goddamn Resistance 2. Fallout 3 turned out to be 10 times better than both of them, but we could barely get a word in edgewise about that game, by comparison.

That's just on this massive gaming forum, mind, and most other gaming forums. Depending on the company(for instance, if just the mods were discussing such things, or any group of people with nothing to prove) the hype level for games would be more based upon their importance and potential rather than their platform.
